I like this song very much. I don't really know why. To begin with, I am in no way successful. Think not of me as being ungrateful, but I personally feel that there is still much more left for me to be done. Though looking back, I can't help to ask myself, if people from my past could see me now, what would they think of me? But as I sat by the window, looking out into the blackness of the night as the rain trickles down the glass, who from my past would I like to see me now? I can't really think of any. A couple of weeks ago my parents told me about my cousin who was diagnosed with a stage four cancer, this week they told me how my uncle having a heart attack. He was performing his umrah with his wife, accompanied by their son and wife. They’ve only just got to Madinah for a couple of days when the incident happened. And again, such a story humbles me. It makes you think, how is it can people get on with their lives worrying about getting a PS4 or whether Arsenal is able to regain their place at the top of the chart in the Premier League when there are people out there, real people who spend their nights with swollen eyes, worrying about their loved ones who are in great pain. Last Friday was the day many of us Malaysians are eagerly waiting for each year without fail. It's budget day! When I was young, I never really understood what is so important about this day; I never got it why people were so excited sitting in front of the television watching our Prime Minister presenting next year's budget.
