So much frustration...
My degree finally arrived today. Yeay~
Do I sound excited enough for you? How fun...
It does not change anything, my results is still low. If it is any help, it only enables me to prepare my documentations for work soon.
I am still very frustrated with myself.
In retrospect, if it was possible for me to foresee this result that I got, perhaps it would be better for me to allocate less time to worry about my studies and enjoy myself a lot more. To be honest, throughout the whole year, this was all I can think of, yet take a look at where I am now, miserable and numb.
This is what you get when you do what you love instead of what you are good at, people!
Listen to me, if a good and bright future is what you want, then DON'T, under any circumstances, EVER DO/ THINK about what you like. ONLY do what you are good at. Because at the end of the day, values such as passion and interest count for absolutely NOTHING. They are only illusions that gets into you head, who has nothing better to do than to persuade you to read a little more about a certain topic.
Why bother knowing more than you need to anyway, right?
All you are required to do is to know just enough to get through the exams, that is all.
To think that I am irrational due to that fact that my frustration has got over me, that is absurd. Lets take a quick look at the data, shall we?
Of all of my friends, I can only point to a very few among the passionate who got excellent grades. The rest, well, they are mostly indifferent, yet they still got better grades than me, to say the least. So yeah, having said that, I presume these passionate bunch are simply outliers, given how few they are.
Maybe I should have not worried about my grades at all back then. I should have just sit at home and play Call Of Duty all day instead of attending lectures and classes. Unfortunately, even after much effort I only manages to get low results, with even less effort I am bound to fail instead. Kuang3~
So kids, a piece of advice: find out what you're good at and work at it! Don't end up like me; I am good at nothing, so I'm pretty much condemned to be screwed.
I leave the rest to you.......
