Song of the week


Why I like this song?: Yes, I know that I may not look like a Nasyid-song lover, but last night on our way back from the Nadira's house-warming, all of a sudden I heard a tune ringing inside my ears while I was not even wearing my earphones the whole journey! To be even more truthful, I may have never even liked the song before! When Afiq Walid heard that I was listening to this, he quickly told me that it was about the story of life; on how when an individual is borne into the world he is comparable to that of a newly planted seed. Then the song continues on until the seed grows into a tree all the way until it dies. In short, it is a reminder to us all of how brief and full challenging our life is.

I like this song very much. I don't really know why. To begin with, I am in no way successful. Think not of me as being ungrateful, but I personally feel that there is still much more left for me to be done. Though looking back, I can't help to ask myself, if people from my past could see me now, what would they think of me? But as I sat by the window, looking out into the blackness of the night as the rain trickles down the glass, who from my past would I like to see me now? I can't really think of any. Kisah si ayah dan anaknya....

Today I would like to share a story with all of you; a story about a father and his son. Si anak sedang menuntut di sebuah kolej di ibukota, manakala bapanya tinggal di kampung bersama si ibu. Pada suatu hari, si bapa menelefon anaknya untuk bertanya khabar. Mereka berdua mula berbual tentang pelajaran si anak, kesihatan dan perihal keadaannya di sana; suatu dialog yang sering didengari antara seorang bapa dan anaknya. Setelah beberapa minit, si bapa memulakan ceritanya. Rupa-rupanya, si bapa ingin bercerita tentang kereta baru yang dihadiahkan oleh si abang kepadanya. Si bapa bercerita dengan penuh semangat sehinggakan si anak yang berada di hujung talian mula tersenyum. ‘Alhamdulillah, betapa gembiranya bapaku dapat kereta baru’, detikan hati si anak. what do u think about ktj? i mean studying and living at ktj.. if u had any other choices, would u still choose ktj for ur a level?

when i think about coming here, i'd always think of it as my 2nd chance of being in a residential school. Not that i didn't have enough experiences after being stuck in a boys residential school for 5 long years, but I take this opportunity of being here as a chance to relive all those experiences and to see how much I've matured. Living here is nice, though there are still too much rules to abide to, but at least they don't have wardens who chase you around at night carrying a cane! If i had a choice other than this place, I'd say i might not want to go anywhere else. tell me what you wanna know about me...
