Song of the week...

Yes, it's time for song of the week segment again! Now I want to share with you guys a song, not too new I guess, by Maroon 5 featuring Christina Aguilera. This is the premiere of it during The Voice about almost a month ago, if I'm not mistaken. What I like about this song: the funky music~!! The lyrics are alright, I supposed, not too meaningful. But all in all, it's yet another one of Maroon 5 great single. I leave the rest to you.......

Terrorism, my take on it

Life is full of surprises while the future is uncertain. The world is once more shocked by the massacre which took place in Oslo, Norway last weekend, China’s bullet train was derailed, Amy Winehouse died unexpectedly at the age of 27 in London. So many things are going on in this world, things that we would never be able to see coming, not even with all the sophisticated technologies we possess at present. Random shocks that happen out of the blue, especially when we least expect it to could really leave us in awe. Tragedies serve as punishments, as some may put it. A wake-up call reminding us that God is always watching us from up above. Unforeseen events such as these are eye-openers, awakening us from our deep slumber, it is about time we all realize that we are all part of the much larger plan made by the Creator Almighty. Hopefully this show of force by God would bring back the strayed to rightful path. A sign for the forgetful beings that we are, that our stay here on earth is ...

What is your best moment in KTJ?

hanging out with my friends at night, chatting about all sorts of stupid things sometimes. Playing pranks on people. Make them laugh. Dancing during both Speech Days. My Maths class, especially the ones with Mr Hughes. finally, to top it all up, the moment I got to know Sabrina~ That has got to be the main highlight of my stay in KTJ, the one single reason why I never dread my times there, perhaps that is the reason why I am fated to end up there either with the Bank or Petronas.:-) tell me what you wanna know about me...

Song of the week...

I just remembered that last week I forgot to post the song of the week. Since last week was a very special week for me, the song that played inside of my head was a soundtrack from The Mask of Zorro, entitled I Want To Spend My Lifetime Loving You sang by Marc Anthony and Tina Arena. It is such a lovely song, filled with emotions, plus the vocals of the singers are amazing! So here goes, a special dedication to my beloved Bna, I'd always wanted to do something special for her on me birthday. I leave the rest to you.......

My BNM Pre-D experience

I attended Bank's Pre-Departure program last weekend. The first three days were held in Rumah Peranginan BNM, PD while the last day was carried out in Sasana Kijang, the all new training facility of BNM in KL.  Day 1 I arrived in PD around 5 o'clock due to unforeseen cicumstances in KL Sentral where we had to wait for Anisah. Though the 10 of us were late, we didn't seem to miss much because the initial briefing was still underway. All of us were briefed by Dr. Saiful and Dr. Santhiru, two officers from Human Resource (HR) Department. To be honest with you, this is the first time I knew these two guys existed in HR department, they were very cool and easy to be approached too. After the ice-breaking session handled by Saiful, that night all of listened to the welcoming speech by Assistant Governor, Mr Maznurhisham.  Day 2 During the day we met Mr Adhari, the Director of Corporate Resource Department for a session on i-ACTED, the infamous Core Shared Values of BNM, someth...

Bersih Rally, my take on it

Yesterday marks another important date for the history of Malaysia, though it was not something to be proud of, that does not mean that it ought be taken lightly. An illegal rally knowned as Bersih 2.0 was held in central KL with its initial purpose was to urge for a reform in the election process in Malaysia which was claimed to be unjust. To make matters worse, there was also another group who's determined to rally in KL as well in order to oppose Bersih, so now there are two different groups left to fight against each other in the city of Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, 9th July 2011. To make it more interesting, each of them have agreed to wear different colored T-shirts during the rally with Bersih in yellow while the other group also called as Patriot was to be in red, which seemed similar to what has taken place in Thailand a few years ago when the pro-Thaksin group conjured a huge demonstration in 2008 that turned ugly forcing the airport to close down. Is that what yesterday...
